Contextual Studies: Myself As An Artist

As an artist I am influenced by artists such as Andrew Baker. This is due to his constant focus on detail and following a consistent theme through most of his work.
I am also inspired by his dark and sinister themes and genres, he displays this through his work which he does by using software such as Zbrush and Photoshop. I mainly work by drawing my ideas on paper and then transferring them onto Photoshop and improving them.

When I work I prefer to be in an environment where others are working around me, as it creates a working atmosphere where it easier to concentrate as everyone is doing a similar sort of thing.

The purpose of my work at the current time is that I am using it as a learning experience and as practise so eventually one day if it becomes good enough, my work can be used in the gaming industry. For my work to develop even further I believe I need to learn to display my work in 3D modelling software such as Mudbox and Maya.
