From my Mind Map I made 4 simple types of robots;

1. One which is Strong, some form of shiny colour, its choice of weapon would be a melee weapon or its fists, and it would be controlled by a intelligent A.I.

2.Another type is Bulky is shape, made of scrap like materials, its choice of weapon is some kind of gun and is controlled by a pilot

3. Another is a robot which is much larger than the average human, it appears rusted due to lack of care, it choice of weapon would be some kind of flame-thrower, and it would be controlled remotely from a separate location 

4. The last robot idea would be a small and weak robot made of a very strong, solid material, its choice of weapon would be some kind of laser and it would have been programmed to act in a certain way or follow a pre-programmed path
